FEAR. . .

#supportivesundays

How do you feel about the quotes below?
  1. "You're not confident because of your trauma. Not a lack of value."
  2. "It seems like your anxiety spikes now when you think about really getting to delve back into your passion again, especially because you're terrified something will happen and it'll get ripped away again."
  3. "You haven't taught, consistently questioning yourself, the idea of actually getting back to it is terrifying."
  4. "I think always feeling like the sky is falling keeps you from really pulling yourself back up sometimes."
  5. "Once we're attached to our traumas for so long, it becomes such a part of who we are that letting it go becoming terrifying because we don't know who we'll be without it."

FEAR is such an uncomfortable thing to process through. That feeling can be so polarizing! So . . .  is just jumping back in there, ripping the bandaid off . . . the best option, when dealing with fear?

I wanna go back to the beginning quotes for a second. . .
1. Yes, I've lost a lot of confidence, due to my traumaS.
2. Yes, I am terrified of something that I love being stripped away from me again.
3. Yes, it is terrifying to go back to what I used to do and the person I used to be (in terms of art).
4. Yes, It seems like it gets harder and harder to lift myself back up, after "failing" so many times in my life.
5. And yes, I have become attached to my trauma because of how truly much it has affected me, this go round . . .

So . . . FEAR.
I think pacing yourself and doing things at your own timing and when YOU feel ready is the only way to combat fear . . . along, with working ON yourself, preparing yourself & strategizing your 'upcoming endeavors' . . . your 'comeback tour!'

We walk in the shadows, until we find the light again.
